The Olivia Sieff Foundation was established by Olivia’s father Jonny, mother Christine, and brother Nicky,  as a legacy to the memory of their beloved Olivia.  The foundation will champion the assistance and protection of abused, neglected, abandoned or abducted children, in accordance with Christian principles.  This is a cause that was very close to Olivia’s heart.  We will continue the charity work she had planned and, in so doing, fulfil her intentions of making a difference to vulnerable children.

Olivia was born on 5 December 2003 in London, where she lived for the first 8 years of her life.  She attended The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon Village.  When we moved to Cape Town, she attended Herschel Girls School where she matriculated in 2021 with 5 distinctions.

Olivia was accepted to further her studies at both Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town.  She had submitted her UCAS application to study in the UK and was about to sign a global modelling contract with Next Models.  Her life was tragically and violently taken by a remorseless hit-and-run driver in Cape Town, the day before she was due to sign her contract.  Liv had achieved her dreams, but never got to live them.

The sudden and tragic loss of Olivia was a shock from which we expect never to fully recover.  Liv was a Christian and had a personal relationship with Jesus.  She was beautiful on the outside, but it was her inner beauty that she intended to shine throughout the world. Olivia often expressed gratitude at being born into a Christian family full of love and she wanted other children to experience this too.
